Patrick G. Shea

A graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where he earned the honor of Summa Cum Laude as the top-ranked student of his class, Patrick Shea started his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Charles R. Hayes and has been practicing law since 1996.

Over that span, Mr. Shea has gained extensive experience litigating Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation cases. One of Mr. Shea's many accomplishments as an attorney occurred recently, when he won a large products liability case against a drug manufacturer that resulted in a settlement of more than $2 million for his clients.

Mr. Shea is well versed in a variety of areas of California law, including Immigration and Social Security. He is committed to his work and impassioned about pursuing fair judgments and compensation for his clients.

From his experience working as a defense lawyer for large insurance companies, Mr. Shea gained valuable insight about how injury claims are evaluated and settled by insurance carriers.

Mr. Shea has maintained his reputable standing as a member in several professional law organizations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD), and California Applicant Attorneys Association (CAAA).

An alumnus of San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, Mr. Shea played men's Division I intercollegiate basketball and served as president of his fraternity. He resides in San Diego with his wife, Nikki, and their son, Brady.
